Assignment - Photoshop Animation

Photoshop Original Animation

Assignment: Students will create an original animation, using layers in Photoshop, and converting them to frames in ImageReady. The grading rubric is based on the following requirements:

	Animation should be 200x200 pixels unless another shape is discussed with your teacher.
	Must include background scene for animated object(s). (Solid color will be low points in this area.) More than one background scene may be used.
	Animation must be more than just moving something around. (You will get more points according to the effort on changes from frame to frame or other demonstration of your effort.)
	Animation runs smoothly.
	Animation shows originality.
	More points will be given for more than one thing changing in a scene.
	Animated GIF is turned in and works in IE.
	Original PSD is also turned in.
	Must have at least 10-20 original frames in the final animation. (This make require 40-60 layers.)
